The 2025 Whyalla Regional Festival of Music was nothing short of spectacular! With 180 talented students filling the stage, the atmosphere was electric from the very first note. The festival proudly showcased 10 local primary schools, joined by Cleve Area School, delivering two thrilling performances that left audiences cheering and clapping in delight.

Every aspect of the evening sparkled with energy and creativity. The students’ vocal harmonies soared, their choreography was lively and precise, and their confidence radiated in every movement. The excitement was amplified by a dynamic 4-piece band, a jaw-dropping electric guitar soloist, and a dazzling dance troupe whose energy and flair brought every performance to life. Each element combined to create a concert full of rhythm, harmony, and joy.

Conductors Joanna Jones and Rhiannon Howell led with passion, precision, and boundless enthusiasm, drawing out the very best in every student. Their leadership ensured that the performances were not just technically brilliant, but also filled with heart, expression, and a true sense of celebration.

The festival was more than a series of performances, it was a celebration of community, collaboration, and the sheer joy of making music together. Students, teachers, families, and audiences alike were part of something truly special, witnessing the power of young talent brought to life on stage.

As we look forward to 2026, the excitement is already building. With even more students, schools, and performers ready to join, the Whyalla Regional Festival of Music promises another year of unforgettable performances, shared creativity, and the joy of coming together through the magic of music.
